There's a chill song that used to get a lot more airplay in the summer of 2003, maybe even into 2005, but I just heard it tonight on Grooveradio... so now I must own it. Dreamy 4 note bass line loop, a soft female voice with the lines "carrying me" and repeatedly "I'm walking." ~~ I am especially nostalgic for summer of '03 tunes up thru Winter '04-'05 and wish I could get a digital recording of Demp Revils "Carly's Song" remix. so here is a track i've been trying to find since the late 90's. i think its a remix of a beastie boys the new style, but haven't been able to locate it. i seem to remember the horn of a steam ship in the mix, with an amazing bass line that faded into the track. anyone remenber this track?

Hey guys this is a great board. I am looking for a song that occasionally gets played here. Starts off with audio from a movie, don't know it, but a male teacher askes about various street names of weed. The class (cheech and chong?) dunno, answer with various names then it goes into a smokey mix with a vocal "smoke marijuana" lyric over top a slight rasta sounding tune, i wish i could tell u more...... any body know this one??!!? Thanks man!!!!!! ha.

there was a song that was played on groove in the early 2000s and i think it was called "gates of open mind" or something along those lines...anybody know the exact title and artist? i've been trying to find this song for ages. thanks for your help.

I NEED HELP IN IDENTIFYING THE NAME OF A SONG AND WHERE TO GET A COPY OF IT. ALL I KNOW IS ONE LINE IN THE SONG IS "MUSIC IS THE KEY TO MY SALVATION" AND "GET EVERYBODY AND DANCE" etc i always heard it played on groove radio when they were station 103.1 in the so cal area PLEASE HELP ME ALL MY GAY FRIENDS KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT BUT NOT A ONE COULD GIVE ME ANY THING USEFULL AS FAR AS INFO

To Nhale420 I think the song you are thinking of is called Charly(Alley Cat Remix) however it does have a couple of Lyrics, there is a girl that comes on and says "Jonny says always tell mommy before your going somewhere" if that's not it then I am not sure what the song is that your talking about.
